Lake Ammersee

Visit the sights around Lake Ammersee with us. We will tour the town of Dießen with you to see its former cloister church, The Assumption (the high altar by Francois Cuvilliés), and show you the pewter and pottery workshops of the area as well as the satellite radio station in Raisting upon request.

Lake Starnberg

Steingaden

This holiday resort lies along the "Romantic Road” in the foothills of the Bavarian Alps. Its former cloister church, St. John the Baptist, is among the most important churches in Pfaffenwinkel.

Wessobrunn

Rottenbuch

Kochel

Art lovers will relish the Franz-Marc-Museum while those interested in technology will probably prefer the power station at Walchen Lake, which is, even today, one of the largest high -pressure storage power stations in Germany. Nature friends will enjoy Kochel Lake set between wide moorlands and steep cliffs.

Benediktbeuern

Worth seeing is the Benedictine cloister (founded 739/740), one of the oldest cloister complexes in the foothills of the Alps and the most important cultural site of St. Benedict in Germany.

Tegern Lake leaves no wish unfulfilled. In our tour with you we will visit the cloister church of Tegern Lake and the Gulbransson Museum and hike to Walberg. We will tour the town of Rottach-Egern where famous artists such as Ludwig Thoma, Ludwig Ganghofer and Olaf Gulbransson are buried in the local cemetery and also make a stop at the health resort of Bad Wiessee, important for its mineral springs and, especially, its casino.

Tegern Lake

At the foot of the Wetterstein mountains with a view of the Zugspitze lies one of the most popular outing destinations for the Münchner and venue of the 1936 Olympic Games.

Königsee

One of the truly most beautiful lakes of Germany lies in Berchtesgadener Land surrounded by 2500 meter high mountains (the Watzmann group and the Steinernes Meer). You will ride in a noiseless electric boat to the pilgrimage church of St. Bartholomew, dating from the 12th century.

Herrenchiemsee & Fraueninsel

Delight in the gardens luxuriant with flowers and the historic fishing houses. Visit with us the islands of Herren and Frauenchiemsee with a guided tour through the castle of Ludwig II.

Cloister Seeon

For hundreds of years the erstwhile Benedictine cloister Seeon was the cultural focal point of Chiemgau. Worthwhile seeing is also the parish church St. Lambert with the reproduction of the "Seeoner Madonna”, the original of which can be seen in the Bavarian National Museum.

Berchtesgaden

This beautiful medieval city lies against the backdrop of the Berchtesgadener Alps. We will visit the impressive castle with you, nearby Obersalzberg or the salt mine upon request.

Obersalzberg

An important part of recent history is encountered at Obersalzberg, on a mountain slope east of Berchtesgaden. This was a favourite refuge of Adolf Hitler. We will visit the nearby Kehlsteinhaus, named "Eagle’s Nest” by the Americans, with a magnificent view of the chain of Alps.
