Nymphenburg Castle

Treat yourself to Nymphenburg Castle where you will enjoy the "Steinerner Saal”, the magnificent collection of the porcelain museum and the impressive coaches on display in the Marstall Museum. The summer residences dotting the park complete the charming landscape.

Blutenburg

The former summer and hunting residence accommodates the international library for young people today and is especially well-known for its concerts during Advent. Next door to it is the palace chapel with outstanding works from the late Gothic period.

Schleißheim Castle

All of three castles are on the palace grounds of Schleißheim. You will delight in the famous Lustheim Castle with its valuable porcelain collection and the New Castle with its splendid décor.

Old and New Pinakothek

We will show you masterpieces of painting and sculpture in the Old and New Pinakothek as well as in the Pinakothek of Modern Art. You will have the most beautiful works of the collection, such as Albrecht Dürer’s "Four Apostles” or Vincent van Gogh’s "Sunflowers”, presented and explained to you by one of our well-versed art historians.

Glyptothek

The famous "Barberinischer Faun” is housed here. In a tour of the Glyptothek you will learn of the ardent enthusiasm for Ancient Greece at the 19th century Munich court based on some selected originals.

Brandhorst Collection

With the new Brandhorst Museum, the Munich Art Museum complex, the ‘Kunstareal’, has been significantly and impressively expanded.It is a pleasure for us to show you this remarkable collection of contemporary art including a unique overview of the works of Cy Twombly and a multitude of exhibits by Andy Warhol, Josef Beuys, Damien Hirst, Georg Baselitz and many others.

We would consider it a pleasure to visit other collections of Munich galleries, current and permanent exhibitions as well as the National Museum and the Museum of Ethnic Studies with you.

Pinakothek der Moderne
