Gardens & Parks
English Gardens

The first public garden ranks among the greatest landscape parks in Europe. Its famous landmarks, such as the classicistic Monopteros Temple and the Chinese Tower are among the most favourite places for outings for the people of Munich.

Nymphenburg Castle Grounds

Flanked by stone statues from the Greek world of gods, you take a walk through the rambling castle grounds. We will enjoy showing you the beautiful hunting lodge created by Francois Cuvilliés and much more.

Botanical Gardens

Visitors to the Botanical Gardens, which are worth seeing at any season, will encounter a sea of orchids, cacti and various greenhouses.
We will gladly provide you with information regarding special tours.

Court Gardens

Since the 15th century there have been various gardens surrounding the Residence. Stroll through one of them with us, past the court arcades to the former summer residence of Albrecht V, which contains the state chancellery today.

This park was built upon the occasion of the Olympic Summer Games in 1972. Admire the unique tetrahedron roof of the Olympic stadium with its filigree construction and learn everything about the tragic history of the Olympic Games taking place 30 years ago.
You will enjoy the view of Munich from the TV tower and - with good visibility – from the Salzburg to the Allgäu Alps.
